Obituary

Shannon Katzenbach, age 49, of Shelby, Ohio, passed away on Monday April 29th at Riverside Methodist, Columbus Ohio. She was born on May 16th, 1974 in Dayton, Ohio.

Daughter of Judy Katzenbach and late Richard Katzenbach.

Son- Scotty Katzenbach    Daughter- Alissa Katzenbach

Siblings- Gina (Shawn) Flint, Jack (Heidi) King, Jenna Katzenbach

Grandchildren – Abel Katzenbach, Brylon Katzenbach, Coulson Katzenbach, and Selenah Katzenbach

Nephews and Nieces- Justin Flint, Jayla (Cory) Ryan, Micah (Brittanie) King, Molly King, and Marcus King

Great Nieces of Nephew – Miley Ryan, Rebecca Ryan, Peyton King, and Parker King

Long time companion- Danny Alsept

Beloved Dogs- Bubby and Weezy

Shannon was a graduate of Freedom Christian Academy of Xenia, Ohio. She also studied social work and human services at North Central State. Shannon loved her family and had a big heart. Her laugh was contagious. She was much loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

“Day of Remembrance” for Shannon Katzenbach will be held on Saturday, June 29 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Community Center at 1265 West Second St., Xenia, OH 45385 across the street from the First Church of the Nazarene.
