I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know Alex on a very intimate level. His mind and spirit -especially when embodied in his music- inspired myself and many others and despite the pain he carried, he frequently brought laughter and joy to those around him. He walked alongside me on the journey to recovery for multiple years and I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am without him. I pray he has finally found the peace and relief he deserves and that all his family and friends can find healing during this change and for all the years to follow. The Earth truly lost a beautiful light.
To anyone feeling disconnected or struggling, please know there are people out here who care about you and want to hold space for you in times that try to pull us further apart from each other. You are worth it. You are enough. You are not alone. You are loved.
Thank you, Alex. We love you so much. Rest easy, my friend. I will miss you very much.
