Talmadge Edward Heard, born on April 9, 1966, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on October 27, 2025, in his hometown of Dayton. He attended Trotwood Madison High School in Trotwood, Ohio. He was known for his “wild antics,” silly behavior, and playing too much. However, he was also known for being there when you need him.
Talmadge’s life began and ended in the city he called home, where he built lasting connections with family and friends. His journey through life was marked by deep family bonds and a legacy that continues through his children and grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gwen Heard, and beloved children: Antwon Weeks, Tamika Heard, Danielle Heard, Jacquata Heard, Raynisha Heard, and Nyalynne Heard. His presence will also be deeply missed by his eleven grandchildren, who brought him joy and pride.
Talmadge also leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: brothers Edward Brewer Jr. of Dayton, OH; Roderick Heard of Dayton, OH; Michael Brewer of Cincinnati, OH; and Charles Jones of Dallas, TX; as well as sisters Felicia Heard of Dayton, OH; Tamar Heard of Dayton, OH; Mia (Demond) Hubbard of Miamisburg, OH; Tonya Jones of Dayton, OH; and Lawanda Hurd of Indianapolis, IN.
