Obituary

Shannon A. Turner, 57, passed away on May 13, 2026, leaving behind family and friends who will miss her deeply. She was raised in New York and later made Ohio her home, where she spent her adult life building lasting relationships and memories. Shannon was a loving mother, daughter, and sister whose presence brought warmth and connection to those around her. She was known for her kindness, her sense of humor, and her ability to connect with people wherever she went. She loved to laugh and often brought lightness to those around her.

She is survived by her sons, Chris and Zakk Donovan; sister, Kelly Slayer; and her father, Norman Slayer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Pierce, and her brother, Patrick Slayer.

Shannon was a breast cancer survivor who faced her health journey with strength and determination. Her resilience left a lasting impression on those who supported and loved her.

She found joy in the simple things she cared about most—her cat Sushi, tending to her plants, and motorcycles. These were among the many parts of her life that brought her comfort and happiness.

Shannon’s memory will continue to live on through her family and friends. She will be missed and remembered with love.
