Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Michelle Marie Krajny, who left this world on April 5, 2026. Born on June 16, 1977, in Garfield Heights, Ohio, Michelle was a warm, kind, and vibrant person who was deeply loved by her family.

Michelle was the daughter of Janet Simko (Franco Fontana) and John Alan Krajny (Karen Feliks Shippey). She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Lucille Simko, and John and Josephine Krajny. She is survived by her siblings, Kimberly Krajny (James Wagganer), John Arthur Krajny (Jamie Krajny), and her step-sister, Josephine Krajny. Destiny Fontana and Kyler Krajny were also part of an earlier chapter in Michelle’s life, and she held them close in her heart. Michelle was also survived by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Michelle graduated from Lee M. Thurston High School in Redford, Michigan, in 1995. She was known for her radiant smile, her sense of style, and the care she took in always presenting herself with confidence and pride.

Michelle’s family finds solace in the words of Revelation 21:4: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” This passage reflects the peace they wish for her and offers comfort during this time of grief.
