KENNEDY, Maureen

Age 80 of Dayton, Ohio area passed away on September 14th, 2023 at Cypress Pointe Health Campus. She was born February 22nd, 1943 at Notre Dame Hospital in Central Falls, Rhode Island. She loved playing bingo, scratch-offs, going to the casino and spending time with family and friends. She retired from Miami Valley Hospital, where she worked for more than 40 years.

Maureen (Moe to her friends) is survived by her children John (Diane) Blair, Lisa Blair, Bruce (Diana) Blair, Scott Blair, and grandchildren Tina Martin, Christopher Blair, Taylor Blair, Amber. (Chris) Fish, Jacob Blair, Ashley Blair, and many great grandchildren. May you rest in peace.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.

“God’s Garden”

God looked around his garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place.

God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best
He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never get well on Earth again

He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb
He closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine”
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
