Obituary
After 39 revolutions around the sun, Jesse Nickolas Sanchez finally committed the ultimate tax evasion by shuffling from this mortal coil on December 7th 2024. Franklin D. Roosevelt was on record to attest that it was “a date which will live in infamy” as he knew that Nick was a huge history nerd. Death had already tried for Nick several times with a childhood of rattlesnake and tarantula wrangling in Oklahoma, an earthquake in Mexico City during a visit at 13, a Great Plains blizzard in a ford thunderbird with no heat at 17, and a wayward highway machete at 33.
When Nick wasn’t working as the internet FBI removing scammers and phishers, he spent time helping a nonprofit that seeks to save vulnerable children.
A lifelong metal music fan, voracious reader, and board game aficionado, he leaves many friends to figure out the rules to said games on their own. We suspect it will be Calvin ball without his guidance and direction.
Nick is preceded into the big sleep by his beloved grandmother and father. He leaves his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews and recently a grandniece and grandnephew. He also leaves countless friends across the globe, a sizable steam library, and a small angry cat. Please hold all IT questions but cat memes may be directed to his attention in the afterlife.
Mother: Linda Diane Sisters: Amanda and Kristine Brothers: Michael and Erik. Sister in law: Stephanie Brother in law: JT and Garrett Nieces: Makala and Lola Nephews: Tristen, Zane, Konnor, Corey, Mason and Samuel. Great Nephew: Ethan Great Niece: Aaliyah Best Friends: Ashley, Chris and Christine. To many Aunts, Uncles and cousins to name here but they were important to him.

Nick,
You were arguably my first best friend and you will be the gold standard. I’ll never listen to music the same and I’ll never forget how you somehow taught me that I am worthwhile. I love you and I’ll miss you.

Sending prayers to all of you at your time of loss. God definitely got an Angel who already had wings to soar through life.
