Obituary

Jesse Alan Fearing, 64, of Dayton, Ohio, was called to rest on Saturday, September 5, 2026. He is survived by his two loving sons Adam Fearing, and Samuel Fearing, along with his sisters Terry Boehmer and Traci Fearing.

Jesse was born April 4, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio and lovingly raised on the east side by his parents Judith Ann (Konen) and Charles Edward Fearing. He attended Immaculate Conception School in his youth and later Carroll High School where he excelled athletically and made lifelong friends. In high school, Jesse was a standout athlete, being named all-state in football and qualifying for the Ohio state tournament in Wrestling.

Jesse’s love for sports expanded to the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Bearcats football teams.

Professionally he worked diligently for Bowser-Morner and various construction companies over the years. He fine-tuned his craft as a carpenter, working to erect numerous commercial properties across the city of Dayton. However, no project meant more to him than that of being a father. He took tremendous pride in loving his two sons, and passing on his love of sports to each of them.

He was a devoted son, friend, husband, and father who will be remembered for his witty banter, passionate competitiveness, and larger than life heart.

A celebration of life with his family will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the Delco Park Meeting Place (1701 Delco Park, Dayton, Ohio 45420) from 5:30 PM – 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the “Jesse Fearing Memorial Fund” at Archbishop Carroll High School are encouraged. These gifts will benefit Jesse’s beloved Football program.
