Obituary
Glenda Marie Ellison, born December 16, 1946, in Baton Rogue, Louisiana to her late parents Annie May and George Allen Sr.
Glenda is a proud graduate of Roth High School Class of 1966. She continued her education at Sinclair Community College. Later spend her career at The Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center serving the veterans for more than 25 years before retiring.
Glenda transitioned this life on Wednesday, November 6, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents Annie May and George Allen Sr., Brother George Allen Jr., Allen Lewis Jr., and Marcus Holland. She leaves to cherish her fond memories her loving partner of 20 years Kevin (CoCo) Henderson. Siblings Brenda Lewis, Paulette Allen – Floyd (Jerry), Andre and Kim Allen. Her loving and devoted children Two Sons John Deon Ellison (Kelvina Freeman) and Kenneth Evans (Brandy), and Three Daughters Danielle Waterhouse (Anthony), Felicia Martin (Marcus) and Ashlynn Evans.
Her beloved Grandchildren Deonna Ellison, BJ (Jazmine), Javeon and Josh Henderson, Decameryn Mitchelle, Mark Martin, T’Airra Clabourne, Ty’Nequa Hoskins, Kendall Clabourne, Kennedi Evans, Kenneth Evans Jr., Rianna Evans, Jordan Evans, Brittney Holland and Sha’Marea Martin. 28 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
