Obituary
Frank Johnson Focht II, 60, of Pleasant Hill, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2026. Frank was born in Troy, Ohio, to ‘Aine O’Donnell Focht, and Frank Johnson Focht.
A 1983 graduate of Troy High School, Frank briefly served in the U.S. Army before transitioning to the Air Force. He served a stint in South Korea before returning stateside. After leaving the service he worked at Aerovent in Piqua, then worked as a truck driver, and then attended Hobart Welding School. The remainder of his career was spent as welder, which he loved.
Frank absolutely loved music, rock music to be exact, and was a walking encyclopedia of music trivia. He often took his children to concerts and shared his joy with them. In addition, he was quite the history buff, and could have long, detailed conversations on many subjects. As a child, he enjoyed his time with the Boy Scouts, attending the Boy Scout Jamboree one summer was a special memory. Camping and swimming were other favorite activities.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Kimberly Focht, his children, Tyler (Alexa) Focht, Jemma Brooks, and Hannah (Nick) Charles, as well as four grandchildren, seven sisters, one brother and many great friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Bill Moran, sister Cheryl Criner, step daughter Amanda Guillermo, and granddaughter Karmyn Brooks.
At this time, no services are planned. To know Frank was to love him, he will be greatly missed by all.
