Obituary

Ernest William Lambert, 60 of Eaton, Ohio passed away on January 31^st, 2025, at Kettering Health in Miamisburg after a hard-fought battle.

Ernest was born June 15^th, 1964, in Welch, West Virginia, to Earnest W. Wooten and Lula Mae Lambert.

Ernest lived for his children and grandchildren as evidenced by his lifelong dedication to his profession. He endured long hours and physically demanding work to ensure his family could have a better life than he had. His work ethic could only be matched in volume by his love for family. Ernest was not only a diligent worker but a beloved father and grandfather. He found immense joy in surrounding himself with loved ones, preferably outside and accompanied by a grill and a small, motorized vehicle for the grandkids to ride or for Papaw to fix. When not found with family he was likely in his second home up a tree. Despite the challenges he had to overcome, Ernest remained a pillar of strength and perseverance. His unwavering dedication to his family and unyielding spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will remain forever in our hearts as a true example of what a provider should be.

Preceded in death by his parents Earnest W. Wooten and Lula Mae Lambert, brother Moses (Junior) Lambert and sisters Oma and Retta Lambert, Rebecca Regina Holmes and Linda Sue Pack.

Survived by his three children, Eric William Lambert (Ashley), Travis Lambert (Brooke) and Shawna Mann. Eleven grandchildren Michael William Lambert (Mackenzie), Brooklyn Lambert, Alexis Lambert, David Patrick, Noah Lambert, Mae Mae (Kayleigh) Mann, Madison Lambert, Tristan Lambert, Leo Mann, Avery Lambert, Bella Mann and eight great grandchildren.
