In Loving Memory of Donta Lamar Beaty
September 17, 1975 – May 18, 2026

Donta Lamar Beaty, age 50, of Springboro, Ohio, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Donta was a devoted husband, loving father, loyal brother, mentor, and friend to many. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Chastity A. Beaty, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love. He is lovingly remembered by his children, D’Nylah D. Beaty, Donta L Beaty Jr., and John T. Draper Jr. 

He is also survived by his siblings, Linda (Shawn) Montague, John E. Beaty, Jr., Pamela Robertson, and Leticia Beaty, along with a host of extended family members, friends, coworkers, and loved ones whose lives were forever touched by his kindness and generosity.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille A. Beaty, and his grandparents, James A. McCloud Sr. and Nettie McCloud.

Donta dedicated more than 30 years of his professional life to the automotive industry, where he last served as a General Area Manager. Throughout his career, he was respected not only for his leadership and work ethic but also for the guidance and mentorship he provided to others. He believed in helping people grow, both personally and professionally, and he made a lasting impact on countless individuals along the way.

Donta lived a life rooted in service and compassion. He consistently gave back to his community through various charitable organizations and was known for always extending a helping hand to those in need.

Donta was outgoing, active, and deeply devoted to his family and brotherhood. He was known for his unwavering loyalty, generous spirit, and genuine love for people. Those who knew him often said he would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His presence brought strength, laughter, wisdom, and comfort to everyone around him.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy of love, leadership, faith, and generosity will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life honoring Donta Lamar Beaty will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at The Lift, 114 South June Street, Dayton, Ohio 45403. All are welcome! 

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

    Condolences to the family. A friend gone too soon. Donta and I have known one another for over 30yrs from getting our hair cut in Rog’s basement. One of the most down to earth gentleman that I’ve had the pleasure of befriending. RIP bro!

    My condolences to the family. Donta was one of my “day one” dudes. We grew up across the alley from one another. He was always clean, fly, and laid back. I will definitely miss him.
