Obituary

Deborah L. Lankford, age 68, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on April 20, 2026. She was born on July 16, 1957, and was known and loved by many as “Debbie.”

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, including her mother Barbara Blanton; her father; Lloyd Brewster, her brother, Michael Blanton; her special aunt, Mary Lou Crampton; her beloved husband, Wayde Lankford; and two of her children, Amanda Bole and Danny Lankford.

She leaves behind her loving son, Kenny Lankford and his wife Ashley Lankford; a special companion who held a dear place in her heart, Steve Hall; Her son-in-law Patrick; her sisters, Kay (Bo) and Sue (Mike); along with her nephews Brooks and Brett, and nieces Chasity and Jessica.

Deborah was a proud and devoted grandmother to Destiny (Kyle), Dustin (Malique), Talon, Alexa, Kristin, Ricky (Kiamber), Connor, Tyler, and Brooklyn. She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Kayah, Zyon, Ny’meria, De’sire, Xavier, La’veah, Nakoa, Rykan, and a soon-to-be-born great-grandson.

Deborah found joy in the simple things in life. She loved coloring, swimming, going garage and yard saling, and spending time outdoors. Some of her happiest moments were having her grandchildren over to color and stay the night. She adored her children tremendously and was deeply loved in return. She enjoyed listening to country music and watching Lifetime movies.

She will always be remembered for her funny personality, her loving heart, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. To know her was to love her, and she was truly the best mammy anyone could ever ask for.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Glickler Funeral Home, 1849 Salem Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45406.

Deborah’s love, laughter, and memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
