Obituary

Cynthia Renee Cook, 60, passed away Tuesday October 20, 2025 in her residence. She was born February 24, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Harold and Lois (Urbschat) Mott. Cynthia was a graduate of Beavercreek High School and obtained a B.S. in Business Management from Wright State University.  She worked for the Air Force for 25 years at Wright-Patterson AFB and Defense Supply Center Kettering then Columbus as a contract specialist.  Cynthia was an avid animal lover, especially her cats. She loved attending seasonal festivals and enjoyed the company of friends.  She is survived by her daughter, Christine Cook, a twin sister and her spouse, Jennifer (Mott) & Robert Copeland, and a brother and his spouse, Brian & Allison Mott and their children Rachael and Christian. She was proceeded in death by her partner Steve Chaney and her parents.  A memorial service is being planned for the spring.  In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the charity of your choice, but veteran and homeless advocacy was near and dear to Cynthia.
