Obituary

Cheryl Ann Britton, 71, passed away June 16, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. Born in Dayton on December 24, 1954, to Hallie D. (Hessler) and Joseph G. Swearingen, she is survived by her three children Nate Farley (Sasha Ribic), Amanda Britton (Nicholas Wisecup), and Jesse Britton (Lindsi Zipp); nephew Jason Heaton (and children Amanda, Samantha, Mark, Michael); sister Sharon Swearingen; her grandchildren Olivia, Jack, and Henry, and numerous friends and extended family members. Cheryl had a love for travel, food, music, and art. She worked in popular kitchens in Chicago before returning to Ohio to be with family and friends. Cheryl spent much of her time painting and bragging about her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and twin sister Carol Heaton. Cheryl is loved and will be missed dearly.

A memorial will be held Sunday, August 23, 1:00PM-4:00PM, at the Miamisburg Moose Lodge 2110 E. Central Avenue, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342
