Obituary

Angela Sims, affectionately know as Bonnie born August 22, 1954 in Middletown, Ohio to Clara and Herbert Sims, Sr. She went home to the lord on February 16, 2026.

After graduating from Dunbar High School in 1972 in Dayton, OH, she attended the University of Dayton on a basketball scholarship.

She worked for Fisher Guild a division of General Motors and eventually became a bus driver for CODA in Columbus, OH. She enjoyed art and loved drawing.

She was preceded in death by her mother Clara Sims and father Herbert Sims, Sr. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Sims, grandson Ja’Den Sims,  brothers Herbert (Herbie) Sims (Ann), Charles (Donnie) Sims, Stephen (Lanie) Sims, and Mark Sims (Pearline), nieces Channa Dixon (Mike) and Angela (Angie) Sims, nephews Herbert and Joshua Sims, Kolby Hagler and Eric Sims, great niece A’Lliyah Dixon, great nephews Marcellus and Gavin Sims and cousin Maureen Goings (Sonny).
